BIOGRAPHY  

MichaeI Anderson, b. Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 1951, has been an artist, illustrator & designer for 30 years. Prior to establishing Michael Anderson Studio in 1983 he was employed as a display designer & a graphic artist. Collaboration with designers and architects to develop their ideas for themed environments and decorative arts in sketches, cad drawings and digital illustrations is a specialty. Recent professional experience includes completion of a series of conceptual sketches for a series of diverse projects & clients including the St. Louis Science Center, NASCAR Hall of Fame and Hoover Dam. Formal architectural renderings by Michael Anderson have been published in books, magazines and numerous ads, brochures and design presentations. Other corporate clients and projects include Six Flags Theme Parks, St. Louis Blues Hockey Club, Anheuser-Busch, Inc. and St. Louis Cardinals.   

Works of art by Michael Anderson have been exhibited at Washington University, St. Louis, the St. Louis Artists Guild and are included in numerous personal collections as well as the permanent collections of Monsanto, Citicorp and the St. Louis Zoo. Awards include Gateway East Artists Guild Annual Exhibition “Best of Show” in 2004 and 2005.  

Michael Anderson is a member of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators, St. Louis Creative Artisans Guild, Gateway Pastel Artists and the Gateway East Artists Guild. His studio is located in Belleville, IL where he also resides with his wife & two children.
